  1. What a beautiful life. Her work and contributions to medicine have been tremendous, yet her full impact is still yet to come. Seeing these photos add a life and spirit to the research that sits upon our bookshelves and whispers guidance into the ears of compassionate caregivers. Thank you for letting us look through this window into the personal life of one very special and unique individual.

  2. I studied Dr.Janet Travell theory in my Trigger point therapy course.Her work and contribution to the medicine now and ever will spreading to the world. I am practicing trigger point therapy to my patients..and that’s give marvelous result and my patients was happy with in two days…I appreciated her tremendous research work to the world..

  3. I was so fortunate to have spoken to Dr. Travell in 1986; she actually returned my call for I had many questions after having obtained and read a great deal of her first text. We spoke for nearly an hour on a Sunday evening no less! At the end of that conversation she invited me to apply to a training program she was coordinating with Dr. Larry Funt, another person to whom I owe much. There is not a single day in my treatment of patients with TMD/Orofacial pain that I do not apply what I learned from Drs. Travell and Funt. On behalf of my patients, I will be forever grateful. I feel blessed to have studied under Dr. Travell…one of God’s angels, no doubt.

  4. I have been studying the Trigger Point articles .I must say what an amazing contribution to help end suffering .I will continue studying her work to help others .
